Why we treat the inbox as a routing system

BetterSocials and Agorapulse both put comments and DMs from several platforms in one inbox, so we judged them the way an ops team judges a CRM queue. The test is how fast a buying signal reaches someone who can answer it. A comment asking for a price is a lead, and on Instagram a business can only reply to a DM within 24 hours of the person's last message.

Seat fees: Agorapulse charges per person, and several rivals don't

Agorapulse sells every plan per user per month, so each teammate who opens the inbox adds $79 billed yearly, or $99 monthly. Hootsuite works the same way, at $99 per user a month billed annually as of October 2026.

BetterSocials Team includes unlimited teammates, invited by email from Settings, then Team. It's $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for 12 accounts and 4,000 shared AI credits a month. Creator and Pro are one login each, so a team that shares the inbox needs Team.

Three other tools price teams without per-seat fees, per their pricing pages in October 2026:

Instagram and TikTok comments: moderation queue or AI drafts

Agorapulse builds its inbox for moderating at volume. Its pricing page lists comment moderation, post-level moderation, ad comments moderation, saved replies, bulk inbox management, advanced spam management and inline translation. Automated moderation gives 1 free rule per social profile, with 1 trigger condition per rule, below the top plan, which lifts both limits.

BetterSocials works from the reply instead. On Instagram and Facebook, a keyword in a comment sends the person a DM with your link, with no flow builder to draw. Keyword automations are unlimited on every plan.

On TikTok and YouTube, no tool can turn a comment into a private DM. There, and on Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages, the BetterSocials keyword posts a public reply with your link.

BetterSocials also answers TikTok DMs, reply-only, because TikTok never lets a tool start one. The BetterSocials bill buys a shared inbox with lead tags, AI replies in your voice and keyword DMs on Instagram and Facebook, at one flat price for the whole team.

When Agorapulse is the right call

Agorapulse fits a team that splits the inbox by person and needs to know who owns each conversation. Assigning comments and messages, reply collision detection, conversation notes and contact history keep each handoff clean.
