Sendible vs BetterSocials in 2026: which one fits you?
November 3, 2026 · 8 min read
Sendible is the better buy when several people share the work, and BetterSocials is the better buy when comments and DMs bring in your buyers. Sendible Core is $35 a month, or $30 billed yearly, as of October 2026, for 6 social profiles per workspace and unlimited users. BetterSocials Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 6 accounts and one login, and its AI answers comments and DMs in your voice.
Our verdict first: Sendible for shared seats, BetterSocials for the reply queue
Sendible wins on users and on price per profile, so a team, an agency or a client roster belongs there. BetterSocials wins when the job is answering people, because its AI writes each comment and DM reply from rules you set. This memo makes the call first and shows the working after.
What we know comes from two places: Sendible's own pricing page and the plan facts BetterSocials publishes on its pricing page. Our assumption throughout is a single brand posting to six accounts or fewer, at list price, with no add-ons on either side.
Who gets a login on each plan
Sendible includes unlimited users on all plans, starting with Core. Its pricing page says you can invite your team, freelancers, stakeholders and clients, and none of them adds a seat fee. That's Sendible's edge in this comparison, and it holds from the cheapest plan up.
BetterSocials prices by accounts instead of seats. Creator is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for 4 accounts and one login. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 6 accounts and one login.
Unlimited teammates start on BetterSocials Team at $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for 12 accounts. Teammates are invited by email from Settings, then Team. Neither tool bills per seat, but at the entry price Sendible lets a second person log in and BetterSocials doesn't.
The per-seat tools cost more for the same team. As of October 2026, Hootsuite Standard is $99 per user a month billed annually, and Agorapulse Standard is $79 per user a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly. For three people, you pay each of those rates three times over.
Accounts and platforms at the entry price
Sendible Core gives each workspace 6 social profiles. Sendible defines a profile as one connected account you publish to, such as a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, a LinkedIn account or an X account.
BetterSocials Creator connects 4 social accounts for $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly. Its platforms are Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn. A LinkedIn personal profile gets posting and analytics, and a LinkedIn Company Page also gets comments and replies.
X isn't a BetterSocials platform, and neither are email inboxes, WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS. If X is where your buyers talk, Sendible connects it and BetterSocials doesn't.
The bill at six accounts, worked out
Sendible is cheaper at six accounts, for one person and for a team. The table below uses list prices as of October 2026 and the plan each setup needs, with yearly rows shown as the monthly rate billed yearly.
| Setup | BetterSocials | Sendible |
|---|---|---|
| One owner, monthly | Pro, $49 a month | Core, $35 a month |
| One owner, yearly | Pro, $39 a month billed yearly | Core, $30 a month billed yearly |
| Three people, monthly | Team, $99 a month | Core, $35 a month |
| Three people, yearly | Team, $79 a month billed yearly | Core, $30 a month billed yearly |
For one owner, Sendible costs under fifteen dollars a month less, or about a hundred dollars a year less on yearly billing. For three people, the gap is more than sixty dollars a month, or close to six hundred dollars a year. BetterSocials needs Team for a second login, and Team covers 12 accounts when this setup uses 6.
What the extra money buys on BetterSocials Pro is AI replies to comments and DMs in your voice and keyword comment-to-DM. Pro includes 2,000 AI credits a month, and each AI reply or draft uses one. When the credits run out the AI pauses, and the bill doesn't grow on its own.
What happens after a buyer comments or sends a DM
Sendible puts comments and DMs in its Priority Inbox from Core, which its pricing page describes as built for real-time comments and direct messages. That gives a shared team one place to read and answer them.
BetterSocials puts every comment and DM in one Inbox too, then lets AI write the replies. AI replies have two sections, Comments and DMs, and each has three settings: Off, Draft for me and Reply in my voice.
On Draft for me, every new comment or DM gets a draft in your voice, and nothing posts until you approve it. Comment drafts can go out in a batch with Approve in bulk. On Reply in my voice, everyday comments get an answer under the comment one to five minutes later, and a DM gets one about a minute after it arrives.
Questions wait in Needs reply unless you switch on Answer questions too. That switch only turns on once you've written at least one AI rule, a plain sentence such as your prices, hours or booking link. When the rules don't cover what someone asked, the AI doesn't guess and the message waits for you.
Lead tags are the demand side of this. BetterSocials tags a comment or DM as a Lead when it asks about price, booking or availability, and a new lead sends a push notification to the owner's phone. Speed matters here, because Instagram only lets a business reply to a DM within 24 hours of the person's last message.
Other tools write AI replies too. Agorapulse lists AI reply suggestions in its inbox, and Planable's inbox add-on, at $9 a workspace a month as of October 2026, covers AI replies. BetterSocials adds a voice profile built from your past replies and the rules you write, at a price set by accounts.
Turning a keyword comment into a DM with your link
BetterSocials sends a DM with your link when someone comments a keyword on Instagram or Facebook, with unlimited keywords on every plan. There's no flow to build: you set the word and the message.
On TikTok, YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages, the BetterSocials keyword posts a public reply with the link instead. YouTube has no DM API for any tool, and TikTok doesn't let a comment trigger a private DM outside a small regional rollout.
Sendible's Core plan lists Monitoring & replying and its Priority Inbox for comments and direct messages. Both tools offer a free trial, so test the workflow on your own account first. Our memo on comment-to-DM tools in 2026, sorted by price band as your contacts grow covers the keyword tools priced per contact.
When we would buy Sendible
Sendible is what we'd buy for a team or an agency where several people touch the account. Unlimited users on every plan means freelancers and clients get logins without a seat fee.
We'd also pick Sendible if X matters to your pipeline, or if you report to clients. Fully branded reports with your own logo and colours, and no Sendible branding, come on Premium. Premium also adds campaigns, content libraries and a dedicated account manager.
At 6 profiles, Sendible is the cheaper tool. Core is $35 a month against $49 a month for BetterSocials Pro's 6 accounts.
When we would buy BetterSocials
BetterSocials is what we'd buy for an owner or a small team whose comments and DMs bring in customers. Med spas, salons, gyms, realtors, restaurants, creators and small agencies fit that description.
The AI drafts or sends replies in your voice from rules you write, and lead tags show which messages come from buyers. Start on Creator at $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for 4 accounts. Move to Pro at $49 a month for 6 accounts, and to Team at $99 a month for 12 accounts when a second person needs a login.
Every plan has a 7-day free trial with a card required, unlimited contacts and nothing billed per contact. If you're the one answering every comment and DM, we'd pay the difference over Sendible Core to get that time back. Our memo on what a chatbot, a scheduler and an AI manager cost a small business in 2026 prices the other ways to cover the same work.
