ManyChat promo codes in 2026: what exists, what doesn't, and the math that matters
August 25, 2026 · 8 min read
ManyChat advertises exactly one discount in 2026: annual billing, which cuts 18 to 30 percent off the monthly rate depending on tier (manychat.com/pricing, checked July 2026). There are no promo codes. We read the pricing page, searched the help center, and checked the affiliate terms in July 2026 and found no coupon program, no nonprofit rate, and no seasonal codes. The sites promising a working ManyChat promo code are affiliate pages that earn up to 50 percent commission on your signup. Here is what actually exists, and the arithmetic that matters more than any first month discount.
Full disclosure
We build BetterSocials, which competes with ManyChat for creators. Read this page knowing that. Every ManyChat number below comes from ManyChat's own pricing, help center, and affiliate pages, checked July 2026, and where ManyChat is the sensible buy we say so.
The 20 second version, from ManyChat's own pages in July 2026:
- What exists: annual billing at 18 to 30 percent off depending on tier, a 14 day free trial on Essential and Pro, and a free plan covering 25 active contacts a month.
- What does not: promo codes, coupon codes, nonprofit or student rates, and seasonal sales. None appear on the pricing page or in the help center.
- Why coupon sites claim otherwise: ManyChat pays affiliates up to 50 percent commission for the first 12 months of a referred subscription.
The only real ManyChat discount is annual billing
ManyChat's pricing page carries a monthly and annual toggle labeled save up to 30 percent. That toggle is the entire discount program. Here is what it does to each tier, straight from manychat.com/pricing, checked July 2026.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential (250 active contacts) | $17/mo | $14/mo ($168 billed yearly) | 18 percent |
| Pro (2,500 active contacts) | $39/mo | $29/mo ($348 billed yearly) | 25 percent |
| Business (7,500 active contacts) | $99/mo | $69/mo ($828 billed yearly) | 30 percent |
| Advanced (25,000 active contacts) | $199/mo | $139/mo ($1,668 billed yearly) | 30 percent |
Two details worth knowing. First, the prices most articles quote for ManyChat, $14, $29, $69, and $139 a month, are the annual billing rates. The discount people search coupon sites for is already baked into the headline numbers. Pay month to month and the same tiers list at $17, $39, $99, and $199. Second, annual billing also lowers the per-contact overage rate. On Pro, each active contact past your 2,500 costs $0.05 on monthly billing and $0.038 on annual. The overages themselves still bill monthly either way. ManyChat's own pricing FAQ says active contacts are calculated monthly on both monthly and annual plans, and any overages are billed monthly too.
Beyond the toggle, ManyChat offers a 14 day free trial on Essential and Pro, and a free plan that covers 25 active contacts a month with no card required. These prices apply to accounts created on or after March 2, 2026. Older accounts remain on legacy plans.
What does not exist
We looked for every discount a coupon page might plausibly be describing. As of July 2026, none of these appear anywhere on ManyChat's pricing page or help center.
- Promo or coupon codes. The pricing page contains zero mentions of either. A help center search for promo code returns 52 articles, and every one is about codes you send to your own customers through a ManyChat automation. None is about a discount on ManyChat itself.
- Nonprofit, student, or education pricing. Not mentioned on the pricing page.
- Seasonal sales or Black Friday codes. Nothing advertised on their own pages.
- Partner or influencer discount codes for buyers. The partner program pays the partner. It does not discount you.
Software companies publicize discounts because discounts convert. If a legitimate code existed, manychat.com would be the loudest page on the internet about it. It is silent.
Why coupon sites list codes anyway
The coupon pages ranking for this search are not confused. They are paid. ManyChat's partner program advertises up to 50 percent commission for the first 12 months of a referred customer's subscription, with an uncapped model and 100 percent revenue share for top performers (manychat.com/affiliate, checked July 2026). That is a generous program and a normal one for SaaS. Its by-product is an ecosystem of pages that publish a list of codes that never existed, let each one fail at checkout, then present the affiliate link as the consolation prize. The code is the bait. The link is the business.
So when a page tells you a code expired yesterday but this special link still works, read it plainly: there was no code, and the link pays the page up to half your subscription for a year. You are not getting a deal. They are.
The pattern is easy to spot once you know it. A grid of codes with names like the brand plus a number, a verified today badge with no method behind it, a countdown timer that resets on refresh, and every button on the page routing through the same tracking link. Any page built that way is monetizing your search, and the same layout appears for every SaaS product with an affiliate program, not just ManyChat.
The math a coupon cannot fix
Suppose a real 25 percent code existed for ManyChat Pro. It would save you $10 a month off the $39 monthly rate, which is exactly what the annual toggle already does. Now look at what growth does to the same bill, because ManyChat charges per active contact, and the whole point of comment-to-DM automation is to raise that number.
Take a creator on Pro annual at $29 a month with 2,500 active contacts included. One reel with a keyword automation lands, and 6,000 people interact that month. The 3,500 extra contacts bill at $0.038 each, which is $133 in overage, so the month costs $162 (computed from the rates on manychat.com/pricing, checked July 2026). The discount saved $10. The growth added $133. At a steady 10,000 active contacts you are shopping the Business tier: $114 a month on annual billing or $161.50 on monthly, computed the same way. The full tier-by-tier breakdown is in our ManyChat pricing walkthrough.
This is the part coupon hunting misses. A discount moves the starting price once. Per contact billing moves the bill every month your audience grows, and it moves it up. If the automation works, the bill climbs. If the bill stays flat, the automation is not working. That trade is the pricing model, and no code changes it.
The honest ways to pay less for ManyChat
If you have decided ManyChat is your tool, here is the full legitimate list, and it is short.
- Bill annually. It is the real discount: $36 a year saved on Essential, $120 on Pro, $360 on Business, $720 on Advanced (computed from their July 2026 rates), plus the lower overage rate.
- Use the 14 day trial on Essential or Pro to prove the automation earns its cost before paying.
- Start on the free plan. At 25 active contacts a month it is a demo rather than a working plan, but it costs nothing to evaluate the builder.
One caveat on the annual toggle before you take the 30 percent: it is a commitment, not just a discount. ManyChat's own pricing FAQ states that annual plans cannot be downgraded until the current annual term ends. If your volume drops in month three, you carry the tier you bought for the rest of the year. Take the annual price only on a tier you have already validated on monthly billing or during the trial.
And to be fair to ManyChat: if Instagram plus WhatsApp automation is genuinely what you need, your audience is small, and you are comfortable in a flow builder, Essential at $14 a month on annual billing is a reasonable price. We wrote an honest assessment of when ManyChat is worth it if you are on the fence.
The alternative to hunting discounts is flat pricing
BetterSocials does not run coupon games either, and we want to be even-handed about what that means: you will not find a BetterSocials promo code anywhere, for the same reason. What we did instead is remove the meter. The Creator plan is $29 a month flat with unlimited contacts and AI included, so the viral month that adds $133 to a ManyChat Pro bill costs a BetterSocials user $0 extra. Keyword comment-to-DM runs on Instagram and Facebook, public keyword replies with your link run on YouTube, Threads, and LinkedIn, and every reply is drafted in your voice, with no builder to assemble.
The one price cut we do offer is permanent rather than promotional: founding members lock $19 a month for life while the first 100 spots last, with a live counter on the pricing page. There is a 7 day trial and a 30 day money-back guarantee on new purchases, so the downside of testing it is zero. If you are comparing options beyond ManyChat, start with the best ManyChat alternatives for creators.
The searcher typing manychat promo code is usually asking a better question underneath: how do I get this outcome without the bill stinging. For a creator on one small Instagram audience, ManyChat on annual billing answers it. For a creator on more than one platform, or one whose audience is actually growing, a flat $29 with unlimited contacts answers it better than any discount on a meter, because the thing you are buying is the growth the meter charges for. Frequently asked questions
Are there any working ManyChat promo codes in 2026?+
No. ManyChat advertises no coupon or promo codes on its pricing page or help center (checked July 2026). The only discount it offers is annual billing, which cuts 18 to 30 percent off the monthly rate depending on tier. Pages listing ManyChat codes are almost always affiliate sites earning up to 50 percent commission on your signup.
Does ManyChat have an annual discount?+
Yes, and it is the only discount ManyChat offers. Essential is $168 a year ($14 a month, 18 percent off the $17 monthly rate), Pro is $348 ($29 a month, 25 percent off $39), Business is $828 ($69 a month, 30 percent off $99), and Advanced is $1,668 ($139 a month, 30 percent off $199), per manychat.com/pricing, checked July 2026. Overages still bill monthly on annual plans.
Does ManyChat offer a free trial?+
Yes, a 14 day free trial on the Essential and Pro plans. There is also a free plan covering 25 active contacts a month with no card required, which is enough to evaluate the builder but not enough to run a real automation.
Does ManyChat offer nonprofit or student discounts?+
None are advertised on ManyChat's pricing page or help center as of July 2026. The published ways to pay less are annual billing, at 18 to 30 percent off depending on tier, and the free plan's 25 active contacts a month.
Why do the ManyChat codes on coupon sites not work?+
Because they never existed. ManyChat pays affiliates up to 50 percent commission for the first 12 months of a referred subscription (manychat.com/affiliate, checked July 2026), so coupon-style pages rank for discount searches, list codes that fail, and offer their affiliate link as the fallback. The code is the bait and the link is the business.
What is the cheapest way to run comment-to-DM automation?+
If Instagram is your only platform and you stay under 250 active contacts a month, ManyChat Essential on annual billing at $14 a month is the cheapest ManyChat gets. If your audience spans more than one platform or is actually growing, BetterSocials is $29 a month flat with unlimited contacts and AI on every tier, and founding members lock $19 a month for life while the first 100 spots last.
